Retirement of Director John Reynolds

Thursday, 04/10/2012

Bank of Queensland (BOQ) Chairman Neil Summerson today announced the intention of Director John Reynolds to not seek re-election at this year’s Annual General Meeting in the usual course, but to retire from the Board effective that day.

The Bank’s AGM is scheduled to be held on 13 December 2012.

“John was appointed a Director of the Bank in April 2003 and has provided tremendous direction though times of financial downturn and expansion,” said Mr Summerson.

“I am joined by fellow members of the Board in recognising John’s contribution to the Bank and wishing him all the very best for the future.”

Mr Reynolds said that after nine years of service, it was time for him to focus on other commitments and pursuits.

“It has been my pleasure to serve the Bank and its stakeholders in the capacity of Director, alongside the other members of the Board, each of whom provides invaluable strategic direction to guide the Bank’s success.”
