What you’re covered for

Comprehensive insurance cover protects you for loss or damage to your vehicle if it is destroyed or damaged due to an accident, theft or any other event with a choice of agreed value or market value cover.

Personal effects cover – up to $500 per item to a maximum of $750
Emergency accommodation and travel costs – up to $500 when you’re 100kms or more from home
Accessories cover – 5% of the vehicle’s market value or $2,000 whichever is less
Trailer and caravan cover up to $1,500
Finance payout in the event of total loss – up to 50% of the difference between your vehicles market/agreed value and what is owed on your finance agreement
Baby seat or capsule cover – up to $500
Taxi fare to get you home if your car cannot be driven after an accident (within 100km) – up to $100
Replacement keys and recoding of locks up to $1,000 if your vehicle’s keys are stolen

*This will apply only where the legal liability is not covered by the statutory compulsory insurance or motor car accident compensation scheme in your State or Territory.

Third Party Car Insurance

Choose from third party property damage, or third party property damage plus optional fire and theft.

Third party property damage

This level of cover protects against liability for loss or damage to other people’s property and death or bodily injury caused to other people up to $20 million. This will apply only where the legal liability is not covered by the statutory compulsory insurance or motor car accident compensation scheme in your State or Territory.

Third party property damage, plus optional fire and theft

This provides the same cover as third party property damage plus additional cover for fire damage, theft and attempted theft of your vehicle up to the market value of your vehicle, or $8,000, whichever is less.

We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

We’ll provide advice on whether you need to bring your vehicle to one of our Assessing Centres or take it to a repairer. We can help with other arrangements necessary to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
