BOQ Cuts Variable Home Loan Interest Rates

Bank of Queensland (BOQ) today announced changes to its variable home loan interest rates, effective Friday, 3 April 2020:

  • The Standard Variable Rate for Investor (Principal & Interest) and Investor (Interest Only) loans will decrease by 0.25 per cent, per annum.
  • The Standard Variable Rate for Owner Occupier (Principal & Interest) and Owner Occupier (Interest Only) loans will decrease by 0.17 per cent, per annum.

BOQ Group Executive, Retail Banking, Lyn McGrath said: “It has been a challenging start to the year for many Australians. We want to support our home lending customers to manage their mortgage repayments, while also considering the needs of our depositors.” 

BOQ continues to offer a range of competitive fixed rates on new lending over $150,000 for both Owner Occupiers and Investors.
