Bank of Queensland makes a splash by teaming up with Australian Olympian Ariarne Titmus

To celebrate the launch of Bank of Queensland’s brand-new app, myBOQ, the bank has partnered with Australian Olympic Gold medallist Ariarne Titmus demonstrating the speedy and seamless new features customers will enjoy.
Ariarne will be the official ambassador of myBOQ, featuring in the bank’s latest marketing campaign comprising of three television commercials. The heroing TVC sees coach Dean Boxall challenge the Olympic Gold medallist to swim 400m freestyle faster than he can open a BOQ Everyday Account. The race goes down to the wire and Dean takes the glory, celebrating the win for BOQ customers who can now open an account in minutes.
Group Executive Retail Banking and CEO ME Bank Martine Jager said the partnership with Ariarne was a perfect fit for the proud Queensland company.

Captured as part of the marketing campaign are the range of intuitive everyday banking features built into the app including being able to open up to nine accounts for managing different savings goals and smashing saving PBs with the convenience of round ups.

Launched in conjunction with myBOQ is an exclusive suite of everyday banking accounts including BOQ Future Saver, Smart Saver, Simple Saver and Everyday Account. BOQ Future Saver has been designed with a market leading savings rate of up to 3% p.a. [i] to help customers between 14 and 35 years of age with balances up to $50,000 plan for the future with confidence and achieve their goals faster.
