Bank of Queensland (BOQ) Group is on standby to provide Special Relief Assistance to customers affected by Tropical Cyclone Alfred in south-east Queensland and northern New South Wales.
BOQ Group Executive, Retail Banking, Greg Boyle said: “We are closely monitoring the developments of Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
“Our priority in the coming days will be to support communities, our customers and employees in affected areas.
“We are committed to ensuring our customers have access to the necessary assistance and encourage any customers affected by Cyclone Alfred to reach out for financial assistance if they need it.
“We have a dedicated and experienced hardship team ready to assist customers across all banking brands (BOQ, BOQ Specialist, BOQ Finance, ME Bank and Virgin Money).
“We offer a range of practical measures to support people through these difficult times, from deferring repayments to restructuring loans, to help you get back on your feet.
