Ensuring strong governance and executive sponsorship is one of the focus areas of our Inclusion Strategy.

The Inclusion Governance Structure is made up of the:

Inclusion Council

The Inclusion Council is chaired by the Group Executive, BOQ Business. The role of the Inclusion Council is to govern implementation and provide oversight of BOQ’s Diversity and Inclusion Policy and Strategy.

Networking Groups

We currently have several inclusion networking groups in place and plan to build further working groups going forward. These networking groups are designed to align the BOQ Inclusion approach to the needs of our people and their communities.

Here is a list of our inclusion networking groups:

  • Women Ignite Network (WIN)

The mission of Women Ignite Network is to inspire and empower women at Bank of Queensland to advance their careers. WIN seeks to increase women’s self-confidence, support them through personal and professional development and create events for women to connect.

  • Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group

The RAP working group’s purpose is to advance reconciliation at BOQ by developing and implementing an overall action plan to ensure the successful implementation of our Reconciliation Action Plan as well as engaging BOQ employees in the RAP.
