New BOQ Service Makes it Even Easier to Find an ATM

Not satisfied with just having the most widespread ATM network of any bank in Australia, Bank of Queensland has now made it even easier for its customers to find an ATM.
A new free service, launching this week, will enable customers to find their nearest BOQ ATMs using SMS on their mobile phone.
BOQ’s Head of Direct Banking, Craig Broomfield, said the new service meant that customers would never have to hunt for the nearest BOQ ATM again.
“At Bank of Queensland, we believe in making access to your money as easy and convenient as possible, and that’s exactly what our new SMS ATM Locator Service does.
“Customers just SMS us with their suburb or postcode, and they’ll get an SMS straight back listing their nearest ATMs.
“And just to top if all off, the service is free!”
BOQ is also launching a service enabling customers to find their nearest BOQ branch using SMS.
How it works:
- Text the suburb (eg. Paddington QLD) or postcode or your location to 0488 438 286 (0488 GET ATM) for your nearest ATM or 0448 BOQ BOQ (0448 267 267) for your nearest branch.
- You’ll then receive a text message with the locations of your nearest ATMs or branches straight away.
Customers can also locate their nearest branch or ATM using the locate us service at boq.com.au.
