Perth CBD’s First BOQ Branch Keeps its Promise

The Bank of Queensland branch in Perth’s CBD achieves a major milestone this week celebrating its first birthday.
Owner-Managers Greg Righton and Peter Williams said the Bank had received huge support from the local business district, with customers grabbing the opportunity to do all their banking in one spot.
“We’ve found that a lot of our customers are professionals and executives who don’t have time to make multiple trips to see different financial advisers for their business and personal banking,” said Peter.
“They are busy people and being able to do both their business and their private banking in one spot helps free up their time, which we know is so important.
Greg agreed, saying “It’s not just professionals from the CBD who are moving their banking across, either.
“We’ve had a number of clients from around Perth who’ve made the trip in to see us because they’ve heard we offer a one-stop-shop for their banking needs.
“It goes to show that people have realised that we are different to the other banks and that we have done what we promised to do when we opened – to return friendly, face-to-face banking to the local community.
“They don’t have to contact a call centre and speak to a half dozen people before they get the right person.
“Many of our customers have commented on the advantages of dealing directly with people they know and trust for their banking and finance needs,” said Peter.
“And we’ve also had a number of business clients who have told us how happy they are with the service we offer their employees, which makes for a win-win situation for everyone involved really!”
